On 11th to 13th July we are doing a sponsored walk around the Cheshire Ring in a relay, passing on a bugle as a baton. We are planning to complete the 98 miles in 48 hours.

From this event we are hoping to raise £2000 towards the running of the band. Each year it costs approximately £3000+ to keep the band running, providing instruments, uniform and tuition free to band members, plus also having to pay for transport to and from competitions and events.

Members, and friends and family are all taking part in the walk, aged from 8 upwards, walking as little as 5 miles, to as many as 57 over the course of the weekend. All those members taking part should by now have been given the details of the section they are walking - if not, see Emma.
